Google has made the searching on Google more fun and enjoyable for its users worldwide with its innovative logos and designs in its corporate logo.Google does this by creating doodles by redesigning its company logo from time to time to primarily a fun way for the company to recognize events and notable people,scientists, it also illustrates the creative and innovative personality of the company itself.


Doodles have became a medium to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists  by making the decorative changes to the Google logo.

1. April 26, 2011 226th Birthday of John James Audubon 


John James Audubon (April 26, 1785 – January 27, 1851) was a French-American ornithologist, naturalist, and painter. He was notable for his studies to document all types of American birds and  his detailed illustrations that depicted the birds in their natural habitats. His major work, a color-plate book entitled The Birds of North America (1827–1839), is considered one of the finest ornithological works ever completed. Audubon identified 25 new species and a number of new sub-species.

2. Jun 09, 2011 96th Birthday of Les Paul's 


Lester William Polsfuss (June 9, 1915 – August 12, 2009) known as Les Paul was an American jazz and country guitarist, songwriter and inventor. He was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which made the sound of rock and roll possible. He is credited with many recording innovations. 

This particular doodle was graphical and active in nature and plays sound.

Gregor Johann Mendel (July 20, 1822 to January 6, 1884) was an Austrian scientist and Augustinian friar who gained posthumous fame as the founder of the new science of genetics. Mendel demonstrated that the inheritance of certain traits in pea plants follows particular patterns, now referred to as the laws of Mendelian inheritance. Although the significance of Mendel's work was not recognized until the turn of the 20th century, the independent rediscovery of these laws formed the foundation of the modern science of genetics.

Pierre de Fermat 17 August 1601 to 1607/812 January 1665 was a French lawyer and an amateur mathematician who is given credit for early developments that led to infinitesimal calculus. Also, he is recognized for his discovery of an original method of finding the greatest and the smallest ordinates of curved lines, which is analogous to that of the then unknown differential calculus, and his research into number theory. He made notable contributions to analytic geometry, probability, and optics. He is best known for Fermat's Last Theorem, which he described in a note at the margin of a copy of Diophantus' Arithmetica.

Freddie Mercury, 5 September 1946 to 24 November 1991 was a British musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "We Are the Champions".

James Maury Henson September 24, 1936 – May 16, 1990 was an American puppeteer best known as the creator of The Muppets. As a puppeteer, Henson performed in various television programs, such as Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, films such as The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper, and created advanced puppets for projects like Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth. He was also an Oscar-nominated film director, Emmy Award-winning television producer, and the founder of The Jim Henson Company, the Jim Henson Foundation, and Jim Henson's Creature Shop. He died of Streptococcus pyogenes on May 16, 1990.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie 7 November 1867 – 4 July 1934 was a physicist and chemist famous for her pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes in physics and chemistry. She was the first female professor at the University of Paris, and in 1995 became the first woman to be entombed on her own merits in the Panthéon in Paris
